Before supporting their customers in switching over to the current SAP S/4HANA Finance 2.0, the UNIORG Group first converted their own productive SAP system from SAP Simple Finance 1.0 to SAP S/4HANA Finance 2.0 at the turn of the year 2015/2016. For Managing Director Norbert Lakämper, this is a consistent step for UNIORG. The group migrated its SAP ERP system (Rel. 6.0) to SAP on HANA already at the end of 2013, and was one of the first companies globally to implement SAP Simple Finance 1.0 at the start of 2015.
"With the successful launch of SAP S/4HANA Finance 2.0 we have come closer to our goal of simplifying our own IT landscape and consistently carrying out the digital transformation with SAP S/4HANA", says Lakämper. "Furthermore within the SAP ecosystem we feel it our duty to play a pioneering role for our customers, so that they are able to access practical know-how for new SAP products as well."
According to Lakämper: "Based on our experience, our own approach and the overall importance of SAP S/4HANA, we are absolutely convinced that because of its numerous benefits as well as its far superior performance, SAP S/4HANA Finance represents the ground-breaking solution for integrated financial reporting on the basis of a coordinated and harmonised data source."
